Ericka is a young and dedicated mother whose love for food goes far beyond the kitchen. As the chef and owner behind The Under Chiefs, she brings passion, creativity, and heart to every dish she creates.
Driven by a strong willpower to captivate through flavor and presentation, she views cooking as both an art and a science, a balance of precision, creativity, and soul. Every menu that she curates reflects her belief that food should not only nourish the body but also create lasting memories.
Whether she’s creating a custom catering experience or crafting intimate meals for special occasions, Ericka pours her energy and care into every detail, ensuring that each bite tells a story of passion and purpose.
the beginning
The Under Chiefs began humbly, serving brunch from a small café in Riverside, selling out every weekend. We never expected the volume of support that we had. The location was so small and unfortunately not big enough to handle the flow of homies.
It didn’t take long to realize that something special was happening. What started as a passion for good food and community quickly grew into a movement. From there we began catering and hosting pop-ups around Riverside County, and our support followed! Today, we’re catering weddings, securing long-term contracts, and feeding crowds larger than we ever imagined.
From those early mornings in Riverside to unforgettable celebrations across the region, The Under Chiefs continue to serve with heart, flavor, and a commitment to excellence.
